You've got a ton of great information here. I do think that your thesis (Moby Dick provides a lens through which to understand our relationship with the Digital Humanities) needs to be narrowed a lot to be able to discuss it in just 1000 words. Maybe make a claim about what kind of lens Moby Dick provides, or how this lens specifically shapes one aspect of our digital lives.

DeleteI was reading through your first bullet point and it's REALLY interesting. Talking about over coming nature and whether or not we should is something I think we've been struggling with a lot more in the past 300 years or so.. Because of the way Ishmael talks about the whale and it's power I think that's a perfect comparison and an extremely interesting thing for you to talk about. Good luck with your paper!
